Plant Care Maintenance
in Cape Coral, Florida

We don’t simply design.
We diagnose.

Because your lawn deserves better than best.

Why do your flowers need care?

You’d think the sun and rain do all the work. In general, that’s the idea. But the system we live in as you may know does come with tribulation — everything from hurricanes to droughts and all the between.

So, in short, someone has to take care of the flowers and plants that may needlessly suffer through the elements!

Those flowers of yours are the final accent to your curb appeal. The final touch your space needs. We’ll never neglect that!

Design is just one aspect of lawn maintenance in this sense, too. Sure, the foliage has a design that ups the value of your aesthetics, and how they’re designed plays a major factor. But here’s the thing:

It doesn’t matter how great the design is…. If your flowers are failing in health, really all you’ll have is a “dead” design.

And you’d rather want that design to flourish.

We’ll consider the variables and determine what’s ailing your flower beds with pleasure! That’s part of what we do. Whether it’s watering frequency, your soil type, shade or lack thereof: it’s our job to make sure not only the lawn thrives — but the accents that give it the color it deserves also do.

How do I find out what soil type I have?

The fact is sometimes the wrong soil type plays a major role in your plant health. Knowing it is half the battle. It’s not easy determining your soil type, though. Even if you know the characteristics. For instance:

If your soil has a lighter shade to it with a clay-like feel…. It might be time to get some new soil.

But if your soil’s crumbly in texture, colored as black or even brown, chances are…. your soil’s top quality. Don’t change a thing.

However, that’s not always the case, because it does depend on the weather and other factors like sun exposure and shade. We can help you look at all variables carefully.

Sometimes the more clay-like soil’s beneficial as it retains more water. But only if your flowers get sunlight the majority of the day. The sandier soil might be better if that’s not the case, or your flowers may drown.

Ultimately, the tried-and-true method of testing your soil is all about pH balance. Where does your soil rank? They need to be anywhere between a 6.0 and 7.0 level.

You’ll definitely be on track to keeping your plants healthy as a result.

What's the difference between mulch and compost?

Compost is basically a soil supplement for better soil quality whereas mulch sits on top of your soil to reduce erosion and weed growth.

Soil, pots or beds: what's best for my flowers?

Depends on space, soil quality and gardening goals. Limited space? Opt for pots/containers. Plants with extensive roots? Do soil or beds.

What are the easiest veggies to grow in my garden?

Typically leafy greens grow well — lettuce, chard, kale. But also try beans, radishes, carrots, eggplants, and cucumbers!
