Lawn Mowing Maintenance
in Cape Coral, Florida
We don’t simply maintain.
We maximize.
Because your lawn deserves better than best.
What is lawn maintenance?
Keeping your property tidy, is it? Yes, indeed.
It involves not only the work in mowing your lawn, but scheduling it appropriately to ensure your grass is at the ideal height all year round. Not just to maintain the “health” of your grass, but to maximize the appearance of all your curb appeal that goes with it!
- Flowerbeds
- Pathways
- Driveways
- Trees
You name it. Your clean-cut grass accents it.
All this includes professional work done in trimming, edging, and especially debris removal (because clean-cut grass won’t look nearly as good with rock, dirt, branches, or nuts all over it!).
Just goes back to saying: true lawn mowing maintenance doesn’t happen when the grass gets bad.
It always happens just to keep it looking great.
How often will we mow?
There are constant variables to how this question’s asked as it all depends on growth frequency. In general, though, we may mow once per week.
However that may change during any heavy growth periods in Cape Coral, Florida, particularly if it rains!
A little something some may not be aware of: mowing too much may damage your grass! That particularly accounts for a lot of the drier periods of the season, particularly in the summer.
When it doesn’t rain nearly as much, and your irrigation system isn’t accounting for that, a regular schedule may be a detriment, so we often avoid that. An overview of your lawn and how it grows plays a significant role in how often we’ll mow.
Remember: lawn mowing maintenance isn’t just about keeping your grass at its optimal cut….
It’s about keeping your grass as healthy as can be!
What should I do with grass clippings?
There’s nothing wrong with bagging cut grass, but you can also utilize clippings to further nourish the soil of your lawn.
What's the best mowing pattern to use?
Tough question to answer! Because it depends on your lawn. The common patterns are “row,” “circle,” “spiral” or “stripe.”
What is the One-Third Rule of lawn mowing?
The “One-Third Rule” is about keeping grass healthy as a priority — you must cut no more than a third of the height of your grass.
